The New Synergistic Research Purple Fuses

I replaced the Acme sauced fuses with the orange fuses. I didn't care for the orange fuses. So I Sent them back for a refund. That was a couple of years back. Now 35 days ago I bought 3 SR purple fuses for my gear. WOW these fuses are the best fuses I have used. A easy going burn in. They just kept getting better everyday. I  listen to my system everyday for 4 to 8 hours. 

Thought I’d share without any of the details.

The SR purple in my CD transport now has close to 100 hours on it. As you know, I am thoroughly convinced that fuses can and do make a difference in the sound. Even so, I am still rather blown away by what changing one small fuse has done, and that is replacing the already excellent QSA light blue. Look forward to getting two more purples for my DAC and amp.

So a question for those in the know. My cd player has 6 fuses in it. To achieve this vast improvement in sound , do i need to change all 6($1200), or just one will show improvement, or are some  of the 6 more important than others? Thanks

I’m curious why a CD player would have 6 fuses, that's pretty odd? I’d try the main power one first, the one that’s in, or very near, the power cord inlet.
