What are the best choices for upgrading electrolytic capacitors?

Just want to add to Face's post:
You want the tube cap series from Mundorf, not M-lytics.
Roger,

It's been a while since I've used them, I only remember they were one of the premium lines for the signal path. I found them dark and unexciting and only slightly better than the generic electrolytic caps they replaced. They didn't live up to their reputation, IMO. As always, YMMV.
I have used a variety of caps with audio projects for several years, and while I can say that there are differences I will also say that the differences are largely overblown, over-hyped or just plain inaccurate IMHO.

Having said that, I will also go out on a limb and say that ANY modern cap (modern design) is better than the best capacitor that was available 20 years ago. I'm talking new to new here. The changes to cap technology have been to provide universally beter product at universally lower prices than was possible in 1990, for example.

So by all means buy good caps, but you don't need to over do it. As always, YMMV.
