Replasment for Mullard Long Plates?

Hello

I have a Hovland HP200p with 2x 12AX7 Mullard Long Plates, but the Long Plates are wery rare and quit expencive, so i want to try something else (but unfortnly i love the sound from them)..... But what shall i try?

I also use a 12AT7 Sylvania Triple Mica, witch i love and still want to use.

I like the JJ ECC803S. I believe they have long plates and sound wonderful. And best of all, they're quiet.

Current Tung Sol sound fine in my rig (compared to some JJs and old Mesas I had hanging around)...seems like a goldless Gold Lion, but if the Gold Lions are truly better I need to know why and how and I will then get them and stick the bastards right in there.

If you like the Mullard sound go with CV4004.

Stevecham...are the Gold Lion's innards (technical term) the same as the modern Tung Sols? They look very similar.
