Qobuz still messed up

Takes forever to load upon start up and then stops, long pause, and then next song in playlist starts, or rather stutters, stops and the process is repeated. Pretty sure it's Qobuz and not Roon since it happens with both Roon and MConnect. Pity.

@kirkwallace For clarity, the tracks you had problems with and reported to Qobuz are now fixed?

Are there any remaining issues from your perspective (track list)?

@kirkwallace That is what I have done. Odd. Nevertheless, thank you for reporting back. At least it confirms the CDN issue as suspected.

@macg19 , yes, from what i can tell those tracks are fixed (in the PNW anyway). As for other, potentially yet to be discovered bad tracks, I can’t say.

@kirkwallace Thanks, kinda puts things in perspective.

Of course everyone is free to vote with their cash, but I’d caution piling on and creating unintended consequences.

Qobuz users: 1.2M

Tidal users: 3 - 5M

Both dwarfed by the likes of Spotify

Qobuz experienced massive recent growth, over 40% vs 8% industry average. Sounds like they got caught off guard and are trying to catch up.

Qobuz reportedly pays artists a bit better than Tidal.

So...my only point is: It would really suck if Qobuz went out of business and Tidal became a monopoly (in the audiophile sector of the market). That will 100% guarantee a price increase and a decline in service.

btw Tidal users have Qobuz to thank (at least partially) for the reduction in fees.
