Three favorite LP’s

What are your three most prized LP’s?

Mine are:

Bach Cantata #140. Karl Ristenpart, conductor. On  Nonesuch Records.

Debussy Nocturnes and Jeux. Concertgebouw Orchestra, Haitink, conductor.  On Philips Records

Just the Blues. Joe Williams, Count Basie. On Roulette Records,

Although I know it’s hard, please try to limit to three.

I have some 5000 LPs, mostly classical and jazz (and some classic rock) I have collected for the last 50+ years. Asking me to list my three favorite LPs is an impossible task. Even if I could come up with an answer, it might be very different a day later.

The three albums I enjoy the most and have for decades -

  • Odyssey & the Oracle - Zombies 
  • 4 Way Street - CSN&Y
  • Live in Australia with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra - Elton John

I have many favorites, but hree I listen to often are,1. Crusaders "Rhapsody and Blues" 2. Chuck Mangione " Live at the Hollywood Bowl, An Evening of Magic" and 3. Steely Dan "Everything Must Go".
