YouTube Reviews

I’ve been wondering why all of these YouTube reviewers never seem to review, what I consider, tried and true products from manufacturers that have been designing and building Hifi stuff for generations like McIntosh, Marantz, NAD and the like??  I currently own current Marantz components and a 15 year old NAD M3 integrated.  Am I missing something??

Yes, you're missing something. If you go to YouTube and do a search of McIntosh, Marantz, or NAD, there are loads of videos up for all of them.

well, it seems to me that many of these guys have some area of hifi they focus on and rarely stray from.

the hifi world hasnt paid any attention to marantz since the end of the 22 and 23 series, so count that out as, with exception, its just not relevant. NAD isnt really part of the current landscape, neither; its modern counterpart, schiit, very much is, and schiit gets reviewed all day long.

here are some mcintosh c2200 reviews

you see plenty of reviews for boutique/small scale hifi  manufacturred items. like so many things, if youre not lookin you probably wont find what youre not lookin for.

You may not find the item that you have being reviewed. But most if not, all name brands are being reviewed in the category of the item such as, Amplifiers... Preamplifiers... Turntables... Receiver... Dac... Streamers... Speakers... Speaker Cables... Interconnects... and most electronic equipment. For hi-fi you can find reviews on, Macintosh... Marantz... NAD... Denon... Luxman Accuphase, and so many more.  And then you have the Ultra High-End Reviewers like JAY’s AUDIO LAB... OCD MIKEY THE HiFi GUY.... HIFI HUFF and more. You just have to be very specific about the review and the category of reviewer, that you are looking for.

But I get what you’re saying. It’s just that sometimes you just cannot find a review of a particular item that you own. But usually somewhere in the archives there is a review of it or a similar item just not the exact item that we may have.

In your search you must give the correct explaining of the item you wish to know more about as in a review. If not, you will just get a miscellaneous or Simula product that’s being reviewed and not what you have.

I myself have found reviews on items that I have had for over 30 years or more and a review was written for that item. You just have to be really specific in your search or else they will just throw anything at you as the review for that item in your search for it.

KEEP TRYING!!!

GOOD DAY & PEACE TO ALL
