@ghdprentice Thanks, George. Very interesting that it works for you but not others. You must know somebody in the right place! Or perhaps just clean living. 😁 |
Your audience does not have clue responding your question. When streaming to phone or PC / laptop / Mac thru Qobuz’s its own mobile app or web player, it usually does not have issues. The issues occurs when interacting with the third party streamer that uses the manufacturer’s implementation of the Qobuz API. The culprit might be mainly attributable to the CDN that Qobuz uses with its edge servers, as been discussed or realized. Different individuals served by different servers might run into different issues with the same album or tracks. One server may have a corrupted cache or intermittent network congestion while another is perfectly healthy. As of writing this, I heard no issues with yours. Likewise, I would bet you probably wouldn’t experience the issue I have with my system either (see my previous post). Why doesn’t TIDAL have this issue at all? At least I haven’t seen anyone report it, nor have I experienced it myself. TIDAL also relies on CDNs to distribute content globally. The difference may lie in how the CDN infrastructure is implemented and managed. TIDAL may have a more robust approach to managing its CDN network, resulting in a much more reliable streaming service. |
