Dynaudio Confidence Alternatives

With the recent news regarding Dynaudio’s departure from the U.S. market, I’ve decided to pursue alternatives to the Confidence 20. I currently have the Contour 20i and saved up $13k to invest in an upgrade. I have tried several speaker manufacturers in the past and keep coming back to the Dynaudio sound signature.

What I like most is the non-fatiguing resolution, overall body & weight of the sound they produce. I also enjoy the ability to play loud without losing any composure.

Suggestions are appreciated for those that have experience with the Dynaudio sound. I can stretch up to $15k if needed.

Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry for You guys missing out on the upcoming updated confidence series.

From what my dealer told me dynaudio gonna introduce the new speakers later this year.

I was about to take a brand new pair of confidence 30 with me home for about 15k because of the upcoming updated version,  but I'm too curious about the new one so put the deal on hold .

Check out Dali, also made in Denmark.  I have 2 pairs, Epicene 8 and Epikore11.  Your budget is within the smaller Epikore line.  To my ear the most musical speakers I've ever heard.  Good luck hunting!  Its part of the fun!

I just bought an open-box pair of Dynaudio Confidence Legacy this morning at a massive discount. After just an hour or so I love them, and might even sell my Confidence C2 Platinum. Waiting to see how they shape up after the Esotar3 tweeters have had some time to break in for a bit.

@dwette...did you mean Dynaudio "Contour" Legacy?  They don't make a Confidence Legacy that I could find.

What's with the European companies and their goofy model numbers anyway?

@mofimadness did you mean Dynaudio "Contour" Legacy?

Oh, yeah. My bad. It's the Contour Legacy. I need to write my posts before drinking an Imperial IPA, not after. LOL

They are coming on very nicely. I just put them on streaming all last night and today to help run them in.
