Dynaudio Confidence Alternatives

With the recent news regarding Dynaudio’s departure from the U.S. market, I’ve decided to pursue alternatives to the Confidence 20. I currently have the Contour 20i and saved up $13k to invest in an upgrade. I have tried several speaker manufacturers in the past and keep coming back to the Dynaudio sound signature.

What I like most is the non-fatiguing resolution, overall body & weight of the sound they produce. I also enjoy the ability to play loud without losing any composure.

Suggestions are appreciated for those that have experience with the Dynaudio sound. I can stretch up to $15k if needed.

Thanks in advance.

I always hear the higher Dali models to sound generally in the same family as Dynaudio. Maybe a little more relaxed up top, just a touch, but pretty close in the end. Maybe check out the Epicon 2 or Epikore 3, both very nice monitor designs.

I've bought two new pairs of speakers in the last 50 years...in 1975 the JBL L200 studio monitors and in 2001 the Avantgarde Duos. What they have in common is that both have been in service continually since their purchase and neither has suffered a single failure not had a repair in that time. So my point is that, reliability wise, the average speaker is pretty likely to deliver for years without a whimper if my experience counts for anything. So if you really like those Dynaudios and a real good deal comes around (seems reasonable) due to the recent news, if I were you, I'd consider taking the chance. YMMV and good luck with it.

Find a good used deal on a pair of Confidence 20's!  Get what you want and don't worry about it.  Speakers last.  I have had mine for about a year and love them.  Paid about 7k in perfect shape with stands. 'Collectors item!'.
