Dynaudio Confidence Alternatives

With the recent news regarding Dynaudio’s departure from the U.S. market, I’ve decided to pursue alternatives to the Confidence 20. I currently have the Contour 20i and saved up $13k to invest in an upgrade. I have tried several speaker manufacturers in the past and keep coming back to the Dynaudio sound signature.

What I like most is the non-fatiguing resolution, overall body & weight of the sound they produce. I also enjoy the ability to play loud without losing any composure.

Suggestions are appreciated for those that have experience with the Dynaudio sound. I can stretch up to $15k if needed.

Thanks in advance.

Another perspective. Dynaudio has been very clear that they are going to honor warranties and keep a repair infrastructure in place. With all of the hoo ha over them abandoning sales in the US market, I imagine there are going to be some absolutely fabulous deals on Dynaudio product.

Apologies if this strayed from the original question, and good luck with the hunt.

I understand the warranty will remain active, but I’m assuming all potential warranty activities will take place in EU or AP. This would be a hassle to deal with.

I’ll be looking for any great deals on wonderful Dynaudio Confidence speakers that might come of this. I’ve always been a fan.   Owned Contour 1.3 mk IIs for many years.

It was a demo using Dynaudio speakers back in the 90’s that reignited my quest for good sound at the time.

Sonus Faber seems a reasonable place to look.  Or how about the big floor standing Mofi v10s for big wonderful sound without breaking the bank.

Frankly you could go with any larger high quality speakers that would work well in your room and that  float your boat and simply apply some DSP to tweak the tonality to make it sound more Dynaudio-like if needed.
