He Who Hesitates…

My Isotek power conditioner, which I purchased about a year ago, came with a nice power cable, but I was considering upgrading to the Isotek Optimum, which sold for $1295. But I waited. The price then jumped to $1395, but again, I hesitated. I just looked again today and the price was $1995. Needless to say, I am not buying it. I’m sure some of you have experienced the same thing. Unfortunately, I cannot find any on the used market. I’ve seen this happen before in the past, but I’ve usually purchased what I wanted before major price increases.

Is lost.  Look before you leap.  If you want it buy it.  The price could go up or down but you bought what you wanted at a price you could afford.  Enjoy it.

UL and CE are not "standards"; they are merely certification marks awarded by test houses indicating the product has passed specific test requirements. You pay to play, but those marks in and of themselves don't indicate quality or design integrity.

I hesitated,,,actually I just waited for an answer to a question...on a car I was interested in. And it's gone. In less than a day.

Why on Earth would you ever waste your money on an 'upgraded' power cable that will do literally nothing to your sound. Because it can't (see: science, physics). I am confused why someone would do that. Can you please explain?
