There is a reason stuff comes double boxed. Also, resell value can often dictate a much higher offering if there is all of the boxes📦. If you find it impossible that you cannot keep the second box. I suppose if there was ever a need to ship it, you could go to U-Haul and find a second box that would probably work.
McIntosh Double Box?
Hello,
I've just inherited a C2700. It has the double box. I need to load it in my car and drive cross country. The larger, 2nd shipping box is HUGE! If the I keep the item in the original box, will that be good enough to sell and ship it? I really don't have room for the larger box and just trying to figure how important it is. I'm in a small town with no resale options here.
