REVERB LOSES PACKAGE AND WON"T PAY LOSS

I buy a (2) piece pre-amp and power supply and Reverb ships it with signature only on one box, the other box is lost and they won't do anything, so I go into Pay-Pal and they say that its Reverb's problem so I can't file a "Un-delivered claim" ...So now I'm out at least 1200.00 for half of my purchase........Reverb lets the seller decide if they are going to pay a refund, So of course he won't pay the loss..............So when you buy on Reverb you will take a chance on losing your whole purchase and nobody will do anything.......

Why are you not addressing the comments above that if you paid with Pay Pal using a credit card report the issue to your credit card company.  That's the best case scenario.

Sir:    I have never said I paid with a Credit Card, somebody else mentioned a credit card but it wasn't me........I paid with Pay-Pal and they have some agreement with Reverb about making pay-pal claims and pay-pal will not let me file a lost claim........When I paid reverb , it went to reverb not the seller......It's a system that is set up to deceive the buyer into thinking he has some security, but that's a big joke........

Perhaps for future use...

a.) I listed a Credit Card as my PREFERRED method of payment in PayPal, so my PayPal charges got directly onto my CREDIT CARD - not deducted from PayPal $.

b.) I never use PayPal Friends & Family.

The benefits to me are:

a.) sellers do not have my Credit Card #, and

b.) my purchases are secured against most issues by my credit card company.

Good luck, I hope this issue eventuallt works out.
