@audphile1 no need for the sarcasm. I was simply trying to be helpful. If you don't want other people's opinions, don't post in a forum. I will stop here snd simply state. Sometimes Less is More.

@gumbedamit I was not being sarcastic. As a matter of fact I was very serious. You whipped out your credentials. And I explained why it’s irrelevant. I also disagree with your approach. That doesn’t mean I don’t want your opinion. It just means I disagree. If you choose to be offended by it, then it’s up to you |
@kirkwallace is it a repeatable problem? Does the same track not play time after time? Or is sporadic? If it is sporadic, then it could be your network. |
It was repeatable on those tracks yesterday. I have not tried them today. Have been playing Haydn all morning on Qobuz with no issues, however. I switched my LAN from auto dns server to Google for primary and cloudflare as secondary just to see if anything changes. But again, as i never have any meaningful latency and that Century Link /Quantum don’t have — at least here — the ISP congestion that Xfinity has, I really think the network is not the problem. |
@audphile1 if i had whipped out my credentials i would have run out of buffer space. I just made a statement in regards to my expertise in regards to networking and my background in the subject, just to lend some validity to my statement. I will conclude with what I stated earlier, Sometimes Less is More.
