Qobuz still messed up

Takes forever to load upon start up and then stops, long pause, and then next song in playlist starts, or rather stutters, stops and the process is repeated. Pretty sure it's Qobuz and not Roon since it happens with both Roon and MConnect. Pity.

@audphile1 for me at least I doubt it’s a network issue as the renderers in question are hardwired to my Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Fiber router (one directly and one via a Ubiquiti 2.5g switch) and all diagnostics to the clients show no network latency or jitter to speak of (<2ms), and download and upload ISP speeds to the modem are >950Mbps with 2ms latency; and speed from the router is consistently in the ~500-690 Mbps download and >800Mbps upload with latency of 4-8ms and jitter 2-7 ms.

Also the fact that the same tracks play all the way through on TIDAL suggests to me the stopping mid-track events i have been experiencing are a Qobuz issue, but as long as I can side step it, i am not going to worry about it for now.

@audphile1 no need for the sarcasm.  I was simply trying to be helpful.  If you don't want other people's opinions,  don't post in a forum. I will stop here snd simply state. Sometimes Less is More.

@gumbedamit I was not being sarcastic. As a matter of fact I was very serious.

You whipped out your credentials. And I explained why it’s irrelevant. I also disagree with your approach. That doesn’t mean I don’t want your opinion. It just means I disagree. If you choose to be offended by it, then it’s up to you

@kirkwallace is it a repeatable problem? Does the same track not play time after time? Or is sporadic?

If it is sporadic, then it could be your network.

is it possible to change the DNS to Google 8.8.8.8?

It was repeatable on those tracks yesterday.  I have not tried them today.  Have been playing Haydn all morning on Qobuz with no issues, however.

I switched my LAN from auto dns server to Google for primary and cloudflare as secondary just to see if anything changes. But again, as i never have any meaningful latency and that Century Link /Quantum don’t  have — at least here — the ISP congestion that Xfinity has, I really think the network is not the problem.
