Qobuz still messed up

Takes forever to load upon start up and then stops, long pause, and then next song in playlist starts, or rather stutters, stops and the process is repeated. Pretty sure it's Qobuz and not Roon since it happens with both Roon and MConnect. Pity.

tcutter

Qobuz is funky again/still. Via Roon is a disaster. Connect is better but still some stuttering and dropouts.

Still?  It might be the time to try something that works previously...  On my end, Qobuz has been working fine except (very) occasional quirk.  It is not hard / complex as you think.

Or just simply switch the platform...

Well, my last bit of luck with Qobuz ran out yesterday. The dropouts and periods of silence while the music kept playing started recurring every 30 minutes to an hour. Absolutely absurd. Enough is enough.

Today I switched to TIDAL and signed up for its 60-day free trial. It will seamlessly take over once my second year of Qobuz subscription ends. I guess I was lucky that I didn't sign up for Qobuz's three-year plan back then.

I am curious, though, how a streaming giant could run into a crisis like this and still be unable to resolve the issues needed to save its business.

@lanx0003 I’ve not had issues with Qobuz in the last 3-4 weeks. Did you happen to make a note on album and track it attempted to play

@lanx0003 same problems you’re having I’ve had the past couple days. Via Jplay.  No issues with TIDAL with the same tracks.

@audphile1 i don’t recall which tracks today, but the album was the prestige classics Miles Davis & Sonny Rollins.

I am having issues with Qubuz in my secondary system.   The music will go silent with the music is still playing or it will just stop playing.   The weird thing is a song will be playing, it’s silent (no sound coming out of the speakers) then I will choose a different track form a different artist and it will play just fine...but only for awhile before it happens again.  The weird thing is everything works just find in my primary system in the other room.  That is Roon, but that would use my Qubuz library wouldn't it?
