Speaker cables - cables make a difference
Happy weekend,
I have some PAD speaker cables I had reconditioned
and burnt in a little. They just opened up this listing session
I just hear that live small group, rock/ folk, Live sound.
its not as deep, and delineating, but you get more the other way.
I like them both. Reminds me of going to a show. Happy Loving

@degalbraith77 I made a concerted effort and tried a number of lower budget speaker cables and did not find one that really changed my system. It does not mean they don’t exist. The first pair of speaker cables that really opened my ears to the possibilities was a used pair of Acoustic Zen, these made a noticeable and very positive impact. There is a good used market for these, I would troll on hifishark and see what is available. |
Dear @cdtd : Yes it makes a difference always. The cables are not a passive device but an active one that " reacts " to the audio signal passing through it.

@degalbraith77 look at Zavfino Fusion interconnects. They compete well with cables 2-3 X the cost. Their speaker cables are pretty good but I’ve moved on to Acoustic Zen (purchased used) |
