When did you get your first turntable and what’s been your turntable history since then ?

Who, me? No, I'm not fabricating a custom tonearm anytime soon, or even in my lifetime. I don't even have tools I would need to begin. Mostly, the desire to do something like that for myself isn't there.

1968 - Dual 1009 SK2

1974 - Benjamin Miracord

1978 - Connoisseur (British)

1982 - Bang & Olufsen B&O 1700

1992 - Linn Sondek LP (1983), In 2006 Linn Clinic: Lingo, Trampolin, Adickt, Cirrkus Bearing, new arm board for Ittock.

I have only owned Rega.  Started with an 80s Planar 2 and progressed up to a Planar 10 for that I have owned for about 3 years and love it.  Since you had some of the heavy hitters previously, how would you describe the music you get from the Naia in comparison?  Is it very similar in SQ but simply easier to achieve from the Rega design?
