Anyone Else Running Two Systems?

Sorry if this topic has been covered, I did a search and only found a little bit.

I have two systems in my house.  In the main one I have a Pink Faun Scion as the source, McIntosh MCD 12000 DAC/CD, McIntosh MA 12000 integrated Amp and KEF Reference 5 Meta Speakers.  Tai Hang power enhancer.  Plus it is a treated room.  Cabling is expensive too.  It sounds fantastic.

My second one is a bedroom system, way simpler and cheaper. Source is a  Blue sound Node going into a Vincent SV 228 integrated amp.  The speakers are Wharfedale Lintons.   This system is not as good as my main one. It doesn’t have the expansive stage or weight/3Dness and detail of the main system, but even so it is a whole lot of fun, very very enjoyable in its own way.  If this system was all I had, I could seriously be content and happy with it.   By the way, I have had a lot of integrated amps go in out my systems over the years.  I must say from my listening experience, the Vincent SV 228 is underrated and a pretty good value.

Anyone else have two systems with one being "better" but still taking some listening time to enjoy a second less expensive system?

Count me in for four systems.

Besides my primary system in my dedicated listening room, I have two other systems that occupy other living areas in my home.  Lastly, I have a dedicated analogue/tube based system for headphone listening.

They all get regular use and I enjoy them all!

Yes. I have three. One that’s a 1990’s receiver plugged into my computer and to some 1990’s Yamaha speakers. The second is an Oppo cassette player plugged into a Shiit DAC, into some Acoustat Model X speakers.  And the third is what you see in my profile.

I was thinking I have 3, but when I remembered my small 5.1 home theater, it's 4.

Main; Office; Garage/Shop; Home Theater.

Bedroom systems are fun because they are equally subject to improvements with speaker footers, cables, etc. It’s amazing how good a modest system can sound.

Run either a Quboz streaming Bluesound Node 2i or a California Audio Labs Delta/Alpha combo as a source, a Schiit Saga preamp with a very nice RCA 6SN7 JAN tube, the original Schiit Aeger amp, and ATC SCM 7’s. Cabling is leftover Audioquest Columbia, Gibraltor and Wireworld (power and digital).

When I put IsoAcoustic pucks under my speakers (sitting on a dresser and replacing other feet), the improvement in dynamics and bass depth was just as pleasing as if I had bought a new amp for my main system.

Yes I have multiple systems in both houses.  Great to have music in almost every room.  My main system is a 7.3.6 setup.  Have another 7.1 setup with a TV.  A 2.2 setup. Two soundbar setups for TVs both with subs and one with rear surrounds.  a 2.1 setup and a pair of 2 channel systems.  Finally a 2.1 outdoor system.  9 altogether.  I’m good for now.
