How many systems do you have?

one, two, more?

Two. Mine and the other is my wife's system.

HA! How's that for shar'in the love!?

I have three currently, but have enough pieces not being used that I could set up a 4th, at least.

I know, it is an illness.

Currently two systems, with enough additional components to assemble at least two more. Some horde TP, I horde audio. Okay, I'm seeking help...

Two or four depending on how you want to count them. The main system includes two integrated amp/speaker pairs for streaming to other rooms. Then another analog only system in the guest apartment.

One.

If I had several systems, I would still just be listening to only one of them only, the better of them.

I work for a living, so I don’t have too much time for listening. I try to make time most weeknights, and weekends, and when I do, I would most certainly only be listening to my best system if I had several

Listen to 1 primarily, but 2 others occasionally (HT, garage).

Have the gear for another 2. Need. To. Sell.

I have two - but it seems that the "secondary" system has become "primary" - - and has been for some years now.

Three. Main, library / fireplace head phone system, and office. The first two on my profile. Ok, maybe four… one for breaking in interconnects and cables… mostly Schiit.

I don’t count our great home theater system… Meridian surround processor, Rotel amp, and B&W 800 series speakers and two 800 series subwoofer… of course that doesn’t count the bedroom home theater either… but that is just has a 65” tv and Sennheiser Ambeo sound bar.

That doesn’t count my portable headphone system with an A&K SP1000 DAP with Add on amp and Focal Utopia headphones.

I don’t think my car counts with a Mark Levinson system.

Hmm, I am starting to think obsession may be a better description of me than just passionate.

When in my twenties, as a geologist… I carried a huge 100 watt per channel system with detachable speakers to my motel room (typically 3 weeks in one place)… two briefcases of tapes (120 albums) I recorded with a high end Nakamichi tape deck with Dolby C and played through the incredible top of the line Reference Sony Walkman using the best Sennheiser portable headphones..

Ok… I am hearing it now… obsession…

In Japan for the better part of a year… a CD player with external amp.. (4 sized D batteries) in a special purpose black murse and Grado headphones.

Ok… yep… obsession. But honestly, I have always felt that if I was committed and bounced off the rubber walls laughing… I don’t care as long as I am having a great time.

😃🎉😜🥸

Two,

Main system downstairs and the Office.

I hate to say it but I am listening to the Office more than the Main.

B

One sound room , typically 2 systems going, one SS one tubed.  5 turntables though :-)

Good Listening

Peter

Living room = 2 systems (share one set of speakers that are switchable)

Dining room = 1 sytem

Basement = 1 system

Garage/Outdoor = 1 system

Bedroom = 1 system

Office = 1 system

Enough idle components to make another system or two.

Oh my God, I have a problem...

Older system in lounge for TV, Naim Unitilite and Audio Physic Yara 2's. Music Room: Audiolab 6000CDT, Stack Link Streamer (stunning), Vincent Hybrid Pre Power amps MK versions, Audio Physic Sitara 25,s and 2 DefTech Supercube 4000's.

Two year round systems, one fair weather system. The third gets set up in our breezeway, spring through fall. The main system is in a small, but dedicated listening room.  The second is in our finished basement. That system is set up side by side the the small Home Theater system.  Not a peep out of my wonderful wife.

Living room home theater. Bedroom 2 channel. Headphone system at the office. Custom in ear monitor system for mobile/travel.

Ha!
main system , bedroom , vintage system in playroom, atmos theater in garage, gym system, work system…

5. Office, living room with HT system, bedroom, basement/poker room, and outdoor patio. Living room also powers outdoor porch speakers.

2.

One gets used 95% of the time. The other one doesn’t get much use, about 5% of the time.

To me, 1 system is more than sufficient, spend all your money to optimize this single main system. The most I would do is 2 systems although the 2nd one won’t get much use. It’s a waste of resources to have multiple systems where they don’t get much use, systems which are built mostly for display instead of listening particularly those which are built around high priced equipment and speakers. If the whole system costs less than $500 then that’s another story.

Four. Home, vacation, two offices. Three vintage. Two with vinyl. One Class D. Zero Tubes.

I only plan to have one., but decided to put together my old gear for second system. Then thru upgrading my main system, extra gear going to my second system .extra gear from second system I put together the 3rd systems, Looking forward to the fourth systems .i have maybe dozen sets of speakers.

Four.  Office, Music room, family room two channel and TV room three channel.

Lol the main solid state big system. Then the dinning room big tube system,. The bathroom system lol small tube amp run ING a blue ray and tv with I. Ceiling speakers. Watch YouTube movies etc while I'm soaker tub. A home theater system. A tube bedroom system. And a out door patio system. Some cheap junk in garages.

Four; one HT w/sat, receiver, screen, and laptop.  Spouses' desktop and mine, the latter linked to the main in the larger space next....which is where the major pile is.  The 'residence' is small, so the 'main event' is an Elsewhere.  *g*

Enough this 'n that for 2 more 'starts', but would rather 'merge' those into the future 'residence' and a desktop.  Bigger things contemplated for the rest, but other needs press harder at this time...*sigh*

Happy Monday.....*yay*😒

Four. Main tube system in a dedicated listening room, a second tube system in the office, a SS system in the workshop, and a SS in the bedroom.

1 - main 2 channel : Audiovector with Classé pre/power

2 - home theater : Sunfire/B&W with Marantz pre/Sunfire power

3 - office : Sunfire with SVS integrated

4 - garage : B&W with SVS integrated

5 - patio : B&W with Control4 power

6 - car : Burmester

5 plus two headphones setup.

Plus extra components to setup another two systems .

Madness

One, unless my home theater counts. If I lived in a McMansion maybe I’d have another. As it is, I need a second house just for my records.

I basically want a second system for the main floor of our house for parties and holidays (not my primary system), my office/music room is were 99% of listening is done, but I couldn't part with my old gear (like it too much) so now just need a streamer and sub and then good to go. But already looking at swapping some stuff out on the 2nd system (receiver and DAC).

Wife could care less about surround sound and 2-channel is more then enough for her.

Two!

Naim Uniti Atom/Buchardt S400 bookshelf speakers. Sounds good, fun and can listen all day long.  Use it for TV movies also

2. Node 2i, Denafrips Venus 2, Schiit Freya + with NOS tubes, First Watt F7, Klipsch Forte 4's.

Trying my best to not get another system....

Two: One in family room which blends into the kitchen (main listening area), and another in my office.  Won't count Alexa in the bathroom... 😆

I've got two separate systems - one for headphones and one for 2-channel....
