Dr. Roger West

For those who might have missed the news of the passing of Dr. Roger West, there is a nice article in TAS:  https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/sound-lab-electrostats-remembers-dr-roger-west/

Roger's contribution to the world of Electrostatic Speakers cannot be overstated.  I wish Brett and the rest of the West family nothing  but success in carrying on Roger's life's work at SoundLab

I was in touch with Roger earlier this month.  As he was busy getting out the latest updates to new customers, he was also writing to me to identify an issue I was having with updated A1s.  Ultimately, his tips got me running again.  To the very end, it was clear that he never stopped improving his producs, and stayed connected with this customers.  I will run with the A1s to the end.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. West  several times.  What a true gentleman and brilliant!  He was just an incredible human being.

So sad!
