Posting photos?

I recently attempted to add a photo with a comment here. Both dragging the photo and copying and pasting the IMG failed. This is with an iMac.

I ask Amazon how to do this and just received a reply suggesting asking others how they succeeded. So, summary help will be appreciated.

However even entering the 600 you suggested resulted in too narrow distortion. Any other suggestion to avoid multiple experiments? @tomic601, ;^) I agree, why is their system so complicated? I couldn't believe contacting Amazon and being told to ask another member who succeeded in phoning a photo.
