Aurender big price increases soon

Price increases are everywhere. Very unfortunate to those on fixed income.

In 2022, I was bummed at the post Covid 5k price increase from 9k for Volti Rivals (now at 22k) which was out of my budget. Luckily I found/purchased a mint used pair in budget with my ideal favorite finish birdseye maple- it was fate. 

@willywonka my apologies if I upset you.  But I think that $$ are better spent on the DAC and not on the streamer, if you use USB and get the DAC to do the work.  Just my thoughts as a (retired) techy - and audiophile,

I switched from an Aurender to Eversolo, because I listen almost exclusively to "classical" music, and Aurender does not support Presto.  There has been zero degradation of SQ when I use Qobuz.

Aurender makes an absolutely first class set of products but I think they are now definitely overpriced.  If a user likes I2S then perhaps Aurender will give better results than lesser streamers.

@retiredaudioguy I'm not upset at all, just clarifying. I'm also a retired person and former component level tech and lifelong audiophile. If you look at my profile you will see I also own a Eversolo DMP-A6 Master edition. My primary streamer is my Aurender N-200 and my Eversolo is no longer used or even hooked up. My existing DAC is of high quality (Holo Audio May KTE) but coincidently my next upgrade is going to be a DAC that will be vastly superior. I've already done significant research on this. Since I use my DAC and streamer via USB, the DAC plays a major role in sound quality since USB is Asynchronous and the DAC serves as the Master Clock between the DAC and Streamer. Eversolo makes some good stuff but just isn't what I'm looking for. As far as being overpriced it's true but that pretty much applies to everything and is completely different with everyone's own perspective.

I love my N200 but it is not worth $7900.    I paid $4800 when it first came out, new , drop shipped to my house.
