Seeking Recommendations for a Streamer (No DAC)

I bought a Sonore UltraRendu, recently.  No DAC, No Screen, only output is USB.  Was very, very easy to setup for Roon.  It's on sale, and with a LPS optional; it fits your budget (Small Green Computer Company).  

Haven't had time to listen to it much, yet.  I replaced a 1st generation iFi Zen Stream.

Since you have the linear, power supply. I once again encouraged you to save until you can get into at least a Innuos Stream 1 w/lpsu https://share.google/LVmHM5ngVuj9jbdFs.

I would agree with @gkelly 

used streamer for $1,000 vs your Node will be an incremental improvement at best.

I took @gkelly and others advice and saved until I could purchase a used Innuos streamer. In my case it was a Zen Mk 3 with 2TB internal storage. The Sense App is excellent, sound quality is excellent, customer support even before I made the purchase was excellent. Ripping CDs with the internal drive and storage is painless. It's incredibly convenient to have access to all my favorite music in one place.

I’ve got a Lumin U2 mini with a s-booster.  That would be above your budget but if you could land a Lumin U2 mini used might not be too much of a budget buster, would be a nice upgrade.  I’ve had various Lumin streamers and other well regarded brands. Lumin makes some great streamers.  Upgrade the U2 mini with an external power supply and you’ll have a a great combo for the money if you buy used and the power supply upgrade can be done down the road.
