One of the things about Hijiri cable especially the Million series of cable is it’s extremely robust construction. The design of the Million series of cable followed by the uncanny craftsmanship by Hijiri fabrication shop is unmatched.
When I first got the Million spdif and rca cables it took my awhile to figure how that type of rca jack mechanically operates. I realized the rca jacks used a ’screw sleeve nut’. Meaning, you have to hand unscrew the sleeve nut all the way open, then push them on to the female rca jack and then, hand screw to tighten the screw sleeve nut.
They will get very tight on the female rca jack and if you forget they are screwed on, you can actually pull the outer sleeve of the female rca connector assembly completely off, thinking these cables are ’conventional’ cables.
So you have to be careful. You will have no problem with male/female connector contact with these cables. And this is all Japaneses engineering, design and fabrication. These cable are built to last and should last a lifetime. I hope this helps, happy listening!
