Seeking a New Power Conditioner

I am currently using the following components:  :
1,  Thor Audio 150 Watt tubed monoblocks
2. Vandersteen 5A loudspeakers
3. Weiss Audio Dac 204
4. Lumin u2 streamer

I have looked into the following 2 units:

A- Audioquest Niagra 5000 has 4 high outlets for high current draw items. It has been recommended that since the Vandersteen 5A has two 2ubwoofers built in that the Thor and Vandersteen be plugged into the high draw outlets in the Audioquest.   My second choice as of now is the Puritan 156 power conditioner.  Has anybody heard either of the two compared or alone?  Thank you.

Both are good. I would probably go with the AudioQuest because they have a long history of working with Vandersteen. They co-developed the DBS system used in your speakers. Cable Company is an AQ dealer. I'm sure they can send you a demo to try for a couple of weeks.

Own two Puritan Labs 156.  Spectacular.  Only thing better is replacing the stock 20A power cord with a Furutech 4.1.  No, really.  It's life affirming.  Have shocked several with that discovery.  Cannot comment on Niagra.  Good hunting.

Power cords are definitely part of the equation.  A good power cord to the distributor is a must as it also is powering all the components plugged into it.  The better audioquest power cords, if maybe you’ll consider their cords as well are quite stiff so be sure you have plenty of room behind your rack to maneuver the cords.  As mentioned above I just upgraded the cord to my Niagara 3000 and it was “life affirming”.

I own two Puritan PSM156 as well. Nothing but praise from me. They're made to plug your whole system into.
