I thought the Coda CSIB sounded better in my system than Pass 250.8 and a two piece XP-22 pre. This was driving my Harbeth 40.2 Anni's.
Its a terrific Integrated. Audiophile 1 has had extremely high end systems, and he raves about this Integrated.
Your Opinion of Coda CSiB Integrated Amplifier?
Hello to all:
I am considering a Coda CSiB amplifier (the 18 watt class A version). I would be using it with an easy to drive pair of speakers (89dB/watt) at very moderate levels, so no issue with needing high current/big power. If you have this amplifier, or have listened to it to any degree, what do you think of it? Many Thanks!
While I don’t want to knock a fine American made product such as coda which the owner is a legend and worked alongside with Nelson pass in his earlier years, I for one wasn’t too impressed with my coda no. 8 V2 which has the medium class a bias. I was coming from classe delta monos and those had much more control and bass over my Wilson Sasha daw’s.. for used market value the delta range of gear from classe is very hard to beat. I just sold my last delta amp which was a stereo version for just under $5k used. I’ve got a delta preamp left that im still using but it’s now also for sale as I’ve had many amps and preamps and I prefer the sound of a tube preamp. |
@sbwheelrepair What your saying is that the Coda No 8 didn't work as well for you as the Classe amp with your Wilson speakers, your preamp, etc. The Classe Delta Mono amps that I see on eBay are $6500 each which is about the cost of a new Coda. |
