+3 for Tai Hang !!!
I have three (3) Kinki Studio x Vinshine Audio Tai Hang units, owned and operated since early February 2025, so almost 1.5 years now. These 3 Tai Hangs have been plugged in and constantly on since the day they arrived. Dead silent. Super black background. No Hum. Very efficient, cool to the touch. They're not even luke warm, they're cold. I have a whole range of equipment plugged into these Tai Hangs, from DACs, Streamers, CD Players, Turn table, Pre-Amps, Power Amps and Tube Amps and there have not been any issues whatsoever. Looks great, built like a tank, sounds phenomenal, rock steady and reliably all throughout the day, night and weekends.
For comparison, I also have 2x Puritan units, a PSM156 and a PSM1512 in my system. The Puritan units are excellent, and it would be hard to pick between the 2, in terms of effect on sound quality. I like the Puritans having more outlets in a single chassis (6 on the PSM156 and 12 on the PSM1512). For 12 outlets you either need 3 Tai Hangs, or 1 PSM1512. However on a cost per outlet basis the Tai Hang still is a better deal.
Because the Tai Hangs have a lot of capacitance, I believe they're less sensitive to fluctuations on the electric grid, especially during peak hours, and I therefore I consider them (slightly) better than the more expensive Puritans. YMMV!
(Note: I have tried AQ stuff in the past and could never get rid on the hum(s). Both Puritan and Tai Hang are IMHO much better than AQ and other conditioners I've tried in the past.)
Vinshine Audio is one of the most reliable and supportive companies on the market. Excellent service. Buy with no fear!!!
