Why for the life of me I can’t stay awake when listening to Music?
I really don’t understand how someone can stay all night long listening to music? I read reviewers saying I started listening for hours till 2-3 in the morning. Well, I am 62 yo and as soon as I play music man I feel sleepy. I don’t think that is listening fatigue, it must be the opposite of it. I become so relaxed and my eyes start shutting down lol. Is that normal? Is it my equipments that makes me feel so relaxed or is it my advanced age? Can I do anything different to my system?
I am not sure if this topic came up before and may sound silly but I thought I ask in case someone else on this forum has the same issue.

I love how my system sounds. I sit exactly in the sweet spot. Eyes closed. No talking. I listen attentively for soundstage and imaging cues, spectral balance, timbres, clarity and dynamics. Well-recorded albums sound so realistic they elicit goosebumps. Two hours is plenty of time to get my fix. Until another day... I LOVE my system, setup, and dedicated room. |

@tomcarr Agree 100% 2 hours twice a day is what I need to be fully relaxed and enjoying my system lol. |
