Is there any interesting music coming from France ?

Could you post examples ?

There is a label out of Paris called "No Format." It is centered on performers from Europe and Africa - but a recent album had a South American featured. I truly love a number of the albums. Any that has Piers Faccini on it has been worthy. Good guitarist/singer.

But a true wonder is the album titled "Les Egares." It is by Sissoko/Segal/Parisien/Peirani on Kora, Cello,Soprano Sax and Accordion, respectively. I think it is one of the more beautiful albums I've heard in years.

The Limiñanas, a retro 60’s indie rock duo from France. Their music is a blend of garage rock, neo-psychedelia and French pop. I have several of their CDs and I highly recommend them if you’re a fan of retro sounding contemporary rock.

I did wonder where the question came from. Did the OP just close his eyes and throw a dart at a map of Europe?

So some context might have helped.

Thank you for the Les Egares recommendation. I enjoyed it this afternoon, especially Nomad’s Sky.
