Qobuz still messed up

Takes forever to load upon start up and then stops, long pause, and then next song in playlist starts, or rather stutters, stops and the process is repeated. Pretty sure it's Qobuz and not Roon since it happens with both Roon and MConnect. Pity.

I’m doubtful that Qobuz is at fault, but your router might be.  Are you running wired or wireless to your streamer?  If your router is more than five years old or was a cheapie when you bought it get a new Netgear lets say Nighthawk.  If you are running wireless, try getting a Amazon (cheap) 100’ Cat 6-8 cable and run it to your streamer and see what happens.

All the best.

BTW, Qobuz and Qobuz Connect work fine for me. I hate their persnickety search engine, but that’s another story for another time.

I have added a router to the gateway modem and bypassed the ISP gateway by routing everything through a more capable router. This setup has resolved the frequent dropout issues I was experiencing with the AT&T modem alone. You can refer to my thread or consult AI for more details.  I follow AI's instruction and completed the setup in a few (3) hours.

Qobuz support has already mentioned that the issue is related to corrupted CDN files. Changing the DNS address may reroute your streamer to a different address, but it does not guarantee a trouble-free connection.

My Volumio app for the Rivo Plus also has an option to input custom DNS servers, including primary and secondary. I changed them from the default OpenDNS to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and Google (8.8.8.8). However, the same dropout issues still occur from time to time, with similar frequency as before switching DNS.

What does playing with router settings accomplish when certain tracks not playing from Qobuz?

As others have noted: DNS setting. Also, for those using Comcast ("Xfinity"), I recommend ditching all of its equipment in favor of buying your own modem and router. I've done that and have no issues with Qobuz.

One issue Qobuz and its competitors have is that labels and distributors periodically remove files, or replace them with other files that have different paths. Naturally that causes an issue when you're using a saved playlist.

I have an Xfinity XB7 modem/router with an AQ Vodka ethernet cable running to a Roon Nucleus Plus server and another Vodka running to a Nagra streamer. There are no other connections so I do not believe I need a network switch. The latter two have Tony Pardo linear power supplies and the modem has an xFi iPower Elite.

Again, anybody know how to access DNS settings?

Use a browser to login to your router.
