Qobuz still messed up

Takes forever to load upon start up and then stops, long pause, and then next song in playlist starts, or rather stutters, stops and the process is repeated. Pretty sure it's Qobuz and not Roon since it happens with both Roon and MConnect. Pity.

@audioman58

Thanks for the suggestion to reboot, but it does not seem to make a difference with the router, server, or streamer.

I believe I am set with my power supplies, cables and connections but I invite you to look at my virtual system and see what I might change. I believe it is already optimized.

@duckey

Appreciate the suggestion. How do I access my router settings?

What does playing with router settings accomplish when certain tracks not playing from Qobuz? The Hank Mobley track didn’t play for several days both in roon and in jplay. It’s now playing just fine. It’s either a corrupted file or other issues causing it but these issues are over on the Qobuz end. Nothing to do with router.

@lanx0003 yes I’ve had tracks on playlist become “Not available”. This is caused by the upgrades and patches they deploy. Not a major issue as you can reload the track into your playlist but it’s annoying I agree.

How old is your router- modem combo ? Very important  for you want to be at minimum wifi5  the latest routers have 3 x the buffer and processor speed

that’s why I bought the new motorola it made a huge difference in wifi for tv as well as streaming, I only use hard wire for music and dac  it sounds much better then wifi .

I’m doubtful that Qobuz is at fault, but your router might be.  Are you running wired or wireless to your streamer?  If your router is more than five years old or was a cheapie when you bought it get a new Netgear lets say Nighthawk.  If you are running wireless, try getting a Amazon (cheap) 100’ Cat 6-8 cable and run it to your streamer and see what happens.

All the best.

BTW, Qobuz and Qobuz Connect work fine for me. I hate their persnickety search engine, but that’s another story for another time.
