Steppenwolf

Someone recently said, "I think it's time we gave Steppenwolf a second listen."

So I am. I bought "Magic Carpet Ride, The Dunhill/ABC Years 1967-1971"

I like it so much that when I was wondering what was in the CDP this morning I thought,

"That's not Steppenwolf! This is BS!"

Does anyone else feel the same?

I still have several Steppenwolf albums in regular rotation. Outstanding in several ways. Wish I’d seen them live. Not many heavy rock bands could make a classic version of a Hoyt Axton song.

Jethro Tull snubbed which is disturbing , the guess who , and others who should have been in long ago . look at rolling stone rag ,the Doors at 42, insane , they have some lady guitarist I never heard of in as top guitarist putting Jeff Beck out of top 10 , I have not bought Thst rag in over 30 years , all radicals running it now ,not Rock and Rollers.
