God bless the brave Ukrainian people

I asked lots of school kids what holiday is it? NONE of them knew. They had no idea. When I told them Memorial day they still had no idea what that meant either.

A day to remember something?" Another said it was about MLK.   It's not mentioned or talked about in school. Maybe it's the school policy not to bring up ANY topic with the word "war". They remain shielded and clueless. Sad.

Many gave all. I gave some. Four tears active duty in the U.S, Navy, Viet Nam era. The closest I ever came to combat was when a young punk tried to mug me in Baltimore.
