I am good friends with Rick, whom I met here, who lives in Norwalk, CT, +/- 2 hrs.

His parents live in Princeton, so he goes past me to get there.

We do 2-3 day stay overs at each other’s houses, share other interests, ....

Where, in CT, is 25 minutes from 07062?

We just met at the Blue Note to see Ron Carter’s 89th Birthday party/performance there. We both took the train from opposite directions. Lots of possibilities, good weather, ....

Yet another friend I met here, in Montclair, NJ, 1 hr away. We do day trips, sometimes hit LP stores hither and thither. He's the friend I helped with the Luxman PD444 Two Arm TT. 

We've gone to VAS together, I just wrote him, glad this reminded me.

I think you mean you are close to @bigwave1  in Huntington, 35 minutes from you.

You guys get together, let's keep an eye out for a decent show of common interest in NYC, we could meet there some time, i.e. Blue Note, Village Vanguard, Birdland, Joe's Pub, Iridium, your suggestions.

Would like to see the NY audio show return to NY but I believe they have targeted NJ. If so, will suffer the drive.
