Lumin X2 Has anyone used this device yet?

Fed Ex just landed in the back yard! Just kidding of course.

And as jimpainter stated there was no Fed Ex tracking available until late last night. Very weird, must remember it.

I just connected the Lumin X2 via Fiber and with the Russ Andrews ground cable connected only to the Lumin power supply. All cables are AudioQuest Dragon, and my speakers are the Clarisys Minuets.

First 5 second listen.. the highs are as what I got out of the X1, whew! I was a little nervous about that. Sounds more dynamic, now to settle down and play with it for awhile.

My cables are Cardas Clear which run a bit on the warm side. Your silver dragons would be ultra sharp and responsive (as they should be!)

What does it add , to use this grounding cable ?

Both the X2/X1 have separate ground terminals on the main unit and also on the power supply. However, I have found using both ground connections to not be as good as just using the one on the X2 power supply.

Surprisingly, adding the ground cable does add a bit of clarity to the soundstage. I used it with the X1 and now with the X2.
