Lumin X2 Has anyone used this device yet?

X2 imaging is tightening up as break in continues. The transition from the X1 to X2 for me has been huge, the X1 being tight/articulate and more in the “digital” domain vs the X2 being more organic/natural and more in the “analog” domain. I’m anxious to read your evaluative comments. Would I go back to the X1? Nope 😊

Sometimes when I hear the description as, " analog or organic" I think of a subdued top end.

How is the X2 top end?

To my ears the X2 is a click back from the X1 in brightness, but I’m not missing it. Equipment and cables are a big piece too so your experience may be different. I’m also not using a preamp (being in my 70’s is not helpful either 😠).

Hope you get a package today - I had a FedEx “out for delivery” on delivery day.

Fed Ex just landed in the back yard! Just kidding of course.

And as jimpainter stated there was no Fed Ex tracking available until late last night. Very weird, must remember it.

I just connected the Lumin X2 via Fiber and with the Russ Andrews ground cable connected only to the Lumin power supply. All cables are AudioQuest Dragon, and my speakers are the Clarisys Minuets.

First 5 second listen.. the highs are as what I got out of the X1, whew! I was a little nervous about that. Sounds more dynamic, now to settle down and play with it for awhile.
