Manufacturers with great customer service

What are the brands you've experienced with great customer service?

zavato

@elliottbnewcombjr  Thanks for the memory of that Toshiba grind/brew unit. I owned one until it died. Right beside it was a roaster. At the time I had a source for Yunnan Arabica. Yep, Chinese coffee. Roasted green beans every morning. Those were the days. Now I'm too lazy for that, or for such tasks as LP cleaning.

Before Parasound was sold I called the 800 number and a gentleman answered

I said my JC2 volume know will no longer move. He said send it in we will fix it no cost

That was it.  Great experience.  Word is that’s all changed now

too bad

Unless you bought used or factory direct, its the dealers responsibility to provide you with good customer service. People always forget that. You're not shopping in BestBuy. For the money you spend on this stuff, and the dealers almost always have a protected area just for them, its expected that they should be the one to help when you have a problem.

If you have to deal with a company directly, most are OK. Its not a high volume business and if a manufacturer gets a bad reputation for customer service, it could put them out of business. If you have a piece that's out of warranty, call them anyway. As long as its nothing extreme, they'll usually fix it for free.

The only company I can think of that stands out as having bad service, is B&W.
