Lumin X2 Has anyone used this device yet?

Just found this review about the X2.

The reviewer references the MQA Qrono d2a filter. I have never tried it on my X1. Can anyone explain what the heck it is?

It’s an alternative DAC reconstruction/filtering approach developed by MQA Labs which is applied to normal PCM playback.

I’ve been trying it out - sounds more refined, a bit less lively? My preference is to leave it off.

Thanks. I have never heard of it. MQA yeah, which I thought was discontinued, but not MQA Qrono d2a filter.

How is your X2 breaking in?

X2 imaging is tightening up as break in continues. The transition from the X1 to X2 for me has been huge, the X1 being tight/articulate and more in the “digital” domain vs the X2 being more organic/natural and more in the “analog” domain. I’m anxious to read your evaluative comments. Would I go back to the X1? Nope 😊

Sometimes when I hear the description as, " analog or organic" I think of a subdued top end.

How is the X2 top end?
