This is a critical review by Audio Science Review regarding a speaker crossover upgrade kit sold by GR Research for the Ascend Sierra-2EX V2 speakers. The video features a neutral A/B comparison and argues, with evidence, that the measurement methodology was flawed, that the performance was made worse, that false concerns about impedance are asserted, and overall there is no objective evidence of improvement and that the Ascend Sierra-2EX V2 is already a well-engineered speaker that does not require aftermarket modifications.

@mapman ...a truly intelligent AI would steer clear, not having ears attached to wetware that's biased from day one. And that's ignoring the fact that umans are training them to train other AIs' that learn how to forget pertinent details.... Besides, we're a more entertaining 'read', IMFlawedO.... @mylogic ....at least hold off until the warranty goes *poof*. But I still have some malicious glee cutting the cones off of brand-new drivers. "I was well for a long time before I discovered being creatively sick....." ....aye aye, AI....EIEIO....Someone some ware will learn how to PO an AI... |
