Hi , I have a Project Stream Box Ultra feeding a Cambridge DAC Magic 200 M feeding Audeze LC-2’s. My thoughts are can you get an older leftover iphone to stream to your Cambridge. Or maybe consider getting a used Bluesound Node and use as an all in one ? I’m sure there are many budget blue tooth streamers and those more knowledgeable than I will chime in. Happy Listening, Mike B.
Guys I need help with a recommendation?
Guys I need help with a recommendation I have a few headphone amps, got them a few years ago, don’t remember if they have a DAC or not so to be safe I need a DAC as part of the recommendation, I listen to most music on my iPhone, need a Bluetooth enabled DAC so I can uses the Bluetooth to connect to my headphones amps..issue is I need it to be inexpensive since I have limited funds, I do have a Cambridge Audio DAC magic plus that worked great, however in a recent Apple update it will no longer connect with with that CA unit, might be the Apple update or the Cambridge Audio Bluetooth broke, so I need a replacement, what do you guys think will be a decent option for less than $400, I know Bluetooth is an inferior signal but I believe it’s my only option since most of my music is streamed on iPhone, would appreciate any assistance since I’m newer to this world, maybe 5yrs, and limited funds, thank you, Ivan

I assume you’ve tried to contact both CA and Apple? Are you able to update software on the Cambridge? I would get a Wiim streamer/DAC . It is compatible with many streaming sources, such as Qobuz, so you wouldn’t have to Bluetooth. It also offers AirPlay, which is a definite step up the ladder from Bluetooth. They have many models at different budget price points
Wiim will stream to BT headphones, I am not sure about BT DACs. However for $400 you could pick up a Wiim and a BT headphone
