Favorite Beatles Song

Mine is Hey Jude

I read someone here mention that they especially liked some of the early songs.

One early song that I really, really like is their cover of an Arthur Alexander song called "Anna (go to him)".

I can almost see John's heart being ripped out by Anna as he sings the bridge...

But, every girl I've ever had

Breaks my heart and leaves me sad

What am I, what am I, supposed to do? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

This is certainly NOT a best/favorite Beatles song. But it's definitely worth listening to.

In 1974, during Lennon's "lost weekend", Paul joined John, Stevie Wonder, John's drinking buddy Harry Nilsson, Bobby Keys, and Jesse Ed Davis for a very loose studio jam. The jam was recorded and released as a bootleg called, "A Toot and a Snore." It has a Let it Be/Get Back-like vibe.

I am surprised to find this because I thought that John and Paul were through. Has me wondering, "What if..."
