Signal Generator

I have a cheapo signal generator that I use for sending frequency thru the system to measure spl ect, sometimes its too narrow is there a variable width unit

There are lots of downloadable WAV files that should do the job.

Um, not sure what the question is but maybe you are using the wrong tool?  Room EQ Wizard will measure and act as a signal generator as well.
