Help me choose a MC Cartridge

What cartridge did you use before? What did you like about it? What improvements are you looking for?

Thanks for the questions.  I have been using a Ortofon Rondo MC.  It's about 12 years old and basically just died.  I totally enjoyed this cartridge.  The rondo was a mid priced offering from Ortofon I think it was priced around $800.  With inflation it would obviously be priced much higher today. 

I have a much more flexible budget today.  So I am seeking suggestions since I really haven't looked at cartridges for a long time.

I recently acquired a new Hana Umami Blue and like it quite a bit. I recommend reading about it and adding it to your list of cartridges to consider. 

I heard, and liked, the Audio Technica ART20 cartridge in a system I was  not familiar with, but I have heard and liked some of their other cartridges, and so I will make this recommendation.  Ortofon cartridges are still very good and you can look into these too.
