Anyone ever replaced a tweeter in B&W Formation Duo speaker

Hi! I wonder did you ever managed to do it?

i bought a complete new tweeter horn and it looks like the couplings and fastining is in the bottom. I just can’t figure out how to get the old horn off?

Per AI you have to access the tweeter assembly from the underneath by removing the mid/woofer driver first and accessing the tweeter mounting from inside the cabinet.  Apparently there is a  nut holding the assembly to the cabinet.

Yeah I have heard that too but i doubt it, that’s why I wondered if abyone has actually tried?

B&W offers a help line on their website which can probably answer your questions.  

My 801Ns use a similar mounting for their tweeters and while I haven't removed the complete tweeter unit I have replaced the tweeter itself in one of them and the bullet housing is attached to the midrange unit similarly to the description offered by AI for the Formation.
