Audio Signal Run Through a Banana

This article has been around a while but I thought it was pretty funny.  Running signal through mud, bananas, common wire, etc. in a blind listening test.

I have expensive cables. I'm still not sure I have gotten value for my outlay. For sure not big value-  at least not like the radical change in my rig when I added Wilsons.

Banana XS-Series Omega Mk VIII (bananas or spades): It’s got electrolytes!

Forgot banana plugs.  How about the UC Santa Cruz banana slugs.  Now that’s high fidelity.

Regardless of the material that carries the electrons, unless blind testing is done, there will be some bias. "Letting your ears decide" isn't scientifically valid. Also, claiming there's no reason to try and explain things because someon's mind is made up is pretty rich for this crowd.
