Advice needed: Have 2 Power Cables only need 1 - Which is better?

Hello All - I have 2 I think similar power cables for my Holo May KTE DAC.  I’ve tried both and like both but am trying to understand which one if either is higher end.  I believe they are BOTH versions of the Cardas Golden Reference Power Cord.  One of them is Running Springs Audio Mongoose and the other looks like a later generation Golden Reference.  Which would you keep?  Any experience with both?

If your AC power cables improve the sound of your system you should have spent money on better equipment or installed it is a better environment. If dirty power is your problem, its cheaper, easier, and better to fix it at the source instead of trying to eliminate at each piece of equipment.

Newsflash: doesn't matter.

It matters to you quite a bit, apparently. Almost all of your posts are about cables, and many allege fraud and price-gouging. It's as though you're obsessed.

It isn't clear why others' preferences trouble you so.

The biggest difference I’ve heard in power cords is when used on my amp and at higher listening levels when the amp is drawing more power. I haven’t noticed much on any other components

There is no better or worse. Choosing a heavier gauge for higher power demands always makes sense. You would never be able to tell one from the other in any kind of blind A-B testing. The build quality may differ slightly, and usability can vary -- like how easy or hard will it be to plug in and use given the logistics of your setup. If they’re the same on both counts then yeah, just flip a coin. This is one of the most bogus areas of the hobby. People will swear by one cable or another, but whenever real A-B testing is done, whether long or short duration testing, the participants score no better than a random coin flip. There are so many better ways to make your system sound better.
