Lew, great catch!
I just measured my SP10 MK2 factory plinth (MK3 still boxed since JP Jones/Fidelis Analog did all the upgrades) and found that the top of the factory arm board sits 3/8" higher than the bottom of the SP10 MK2 escutcheon, which would be 3/8" higher than what appears to be the top of the Acoustand plinth arm boards.
I use my MK2 just for everyday use and have an inexpensive cart mounted on a Technics EPA-500 tonearm, and to get the correct VTA with that arm, I got lucky and and at all the way down to the zero lift VTA setting is the correct height.
Wonder if a ’bearing drain’, such that Albert Porter had used on his plinths, would be beneficial?
It looks that there is room under the Al top part of the plinth and above the bottom Al part of the plinth, to add a threaded plate below the bottom of the SP10 MK3 bearing, or, add a threaded hole to the middle of the bottom of the plinth and just install the screw to the bearing there?
That would probably defeat the dampening effect of the bamboo pillars?

I have a mint SP10 MK3 with factory plinth that has all the JP Jones upgrades and have been looking for an aftermarket multi-arm capable plinth for years.
Pricing seems fair, considering the hobby.
