New aftermarket plinth for Technics SP 10 MK2/MK3/R from Acoustand

Rich, I looked at the web page.  The plinths are well made and I like the idea of the bamboo spacers.  These plinths with the recommended footers are almost certainly superior to the OEM plinths.  I only wonder whether VTA adjustment is going to be difficult with some tonearms, because the arm mounts appear to be flush with the surface of the plinth, which means the escutcheon surrounding all the SP TTs raises the platter surface to the point where you may not be able to level the tonearm. But you can figure that out with their help before purchase.

I just measured my SP10 MK2 factory plinth (MK3 still boxed since JP Jones/Fidelis Analog did all the upgrades) and found that the top of the factory arm board sits 3/8" higher than the bottom of the SP10 MK2 escutcheon, which would be 3/8" higher than what appears to be the top of the Acoustand plinth arm boards.
I use my MK2 just for everyday use and have an inexpensive cart mounted on a Technics EPA-500 tonearm, and to get the correct VTA with that arm, I got lucky and and at all the way down to the zero lift VTA setting is the correct height.

Wonder if a ’bearing drain’, such that Albert Porter had used on his plinths, would be beneficial?
It looks that there is room under the Al top part of the plinth and above the bottom Al part of the plinth, to add a threaded plate below the bottom of the SP10 MK3 bearing, or, add a threaded hole to the middle of the bottom of the plinth and just install the screw to the bearing there?  
That would probably defeat the dampening effect of the bamboo pillars?
I’m really itching to mount my new Moerch DP-8 with multiple 12" arm wands and my FR64s tonearm with custom bearing/silver wiring/silver phono cable done by Richard Mak/AnalogMagik and start using my nice carts.

My JVC Victor TT81 is way up there.

The Russians (NewArtVinyl) made me a 3/8" thick Acrylic Spacer for my arm to get it up high enough. 3 holes thru it for the Jelco type mount, and 3 tapped holes staggered, for the arm plate.

When I changed to the JVC UA-7082 Arm, I moved the spacer to my Mission arm (also a Jelco mount) so more of the post was in the collar of the base.

Of course I could have painted it black, but I like being aware of it.

Are it’s feet recessed, or is it photographed without feet in place? I think it's a solid aluminum slab, thus I think feet not installed.
