Audio shopping at its best

Looks like the spot to put on the must visit list when in Shanghai.

Mind blown! I Visited the Biggest High End Audio Mall in Shanghai - YouTube

One stop shopping for your high end furniture, Rolex and D'Agostino/Magico impulse buy.

Several of the places had walls of electronics on the shelves like in Best Buy or Crazy Eddie’s BITD. But these electronics were super high end Accuphase, Esoteric, Luxman, god knows what else. One wall was nothing but every model of Project TT currently in production! I’ve never seen anything like it. And only a couple rooms had any music playing. Or any people looking or listening. Ah the super-rich, they’re not like us.

Government subsidies propaganda, or somebody proved me wrong that China has gone that capitalist of a country. How does this exist while the US slowly becomes a Hifi desert?

The exact setup wouldn't last very long, even in a place like Beverly Hills/Rodeo Drive.😂

Seeing something similar in Qatar wouldn't be out of  place.

One picks up their Focal Grande Utopia and stuffs it in the back of a custom Lambo Urus.

What struck me is that they all have the confidence to be adjacent to their competition (like the furniture makers always have been). I wish that were true here, something like that in NYC would be very nice.

They would need closed listening rooms, Harvey’s in NYC had 3 rooms with glass fronts (based on price) and they could make different combos in each.

Home theaters didn’t exist back then, it was just beginning when I started my home based business here in NJ.

I’m impressed. Waiting for wife to retire soon before extensive traveling, maybe Shanghai someday.

Thanks for sharing.
